Thor's Human Donating Member | Snorffling a lot, also snoring more than usual Should I be concerned? Thor has always snored some, but he has been getting louder, and he's woken himself up a couple times gagging (hiccuping? Coughing?) a little bit. He also sounds like a little piggy around the house, whenever he's sniffing at something there's a little snorffle sound too. He seems to have normal energy, and his nose is not actually running... does anyone know about this?

| Mine do it too. If its a sound out of the nose thats fine. If its a honk or a sound out of the throat it should be checked by a vet

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | If this is something new he could have something stuck in his nasal cavity. it does happen sometimes. if that's the case it could work its way out on its own or the vet may need to remove it. can you video his Snorffling sound? i would like to know what a snorffle is LOL

Thor's Human Donating Member | I'll try -- I've never taken vid with my camera. I'm an old fogey. Snorffling is like the sound pigs make when they are looking for truffles.
