| Please assist! My Yorkie has scab like areas on her body. They are not like they ones that you can pick off but they are there. As well underneath her body groups of black spots (like a rash) have appeared in different areas of her belly. I am getting so afraid because a few weeks ago we had a rat problem. Instead of my mother calling in a exterminator and letting me take the dog out for a time, she merely used rat traps which my dog did get into at one time. I washed her throughly after that making sure that none of it remained but the fact that that could be causing some of this is scaring me. My mum had to wait to take her to the vet due to money issues but could anyone help me find a way to stop her from scratching/bitting the infected areas? I don't like to put the cone on her cause she gets depress but perhaps that is the only way...? I am a seventeen year who is desperately worried about her baby VV Help! |

| You might want to post this question in the sick section. Lately, there have been threads about the very things you are describing. Do a 'search' and you will find some info. Also might suggest that you do a search on the net. Let me know if you need some help finding the threads.
