| So upset with my vet Bailey was suppose to have his second set of shots with my vet here yesterday, his first shots with the breeder was to early so the vet said we had to start over..so I go to the clinic for Bailey's appt and it is closed! I wait for 20 mins and call while I'm waiting and get the answering machine, I am so ticked off. I go home and check my msg's nothing from the vet..I looked at my call ID and see the vet had called me 2 days previously, but I never check my call ID, just my machine I've been trying to call today, but still no answer. Bailey will be 17 weeks on Sunday, it seems he will never receive all his shots with the way things are going! Ugh, just frustrating and envious of everyone with a choice of vets, mine truly sucks

not ending love Donating Member | I totally understand you, you should look for a new one, I'm looking for one too now, I don't like my vet, the didn't explain anything to me when jasmin was spayed, even I asked a lot, plus when you make n apoiment let's say, 2 pm, they take you in at 3.30, last time was the worst I made an apoiment for thursday and the put me on tuesday, so on Wednesday I stoped by to ask how much my bill was gonna be and the lady in the counter is telling me that I missed my apmt yesterday and I'm telling her I would never make an apmt tuesday cuz I work a long shift and I don't like to leave the dogs alone after they get their shots and this woman is giving me a huge attitud, like ohhhh I don't know if we can take you tomorrow and bs like that at the end she told me to be there at 2 pm and the bill will be around $300 (I was taking 3 dogs) so I showed up the next day at 2.30 with the 3 dogs in a really hot day( I walked there) and the same lady is telling me that I'm late and nobady can see me ....... What about all the times I waited more than one hour for them? There was nobody at the office just me..... I think she was just being mean, I don't want to go back there.... My bf took my dogs to a low cost clinic and he said the people there is amazing and helpful the only problem is that is to far for me..... They got their shots (and they gave him a lot inf about spaying) and was wayyy cheaper than my vet... Maybe you can check if there's any of this places close to you, I want to go back there but is just to far my bf was amazed with the service and help

| I am sorry to hear that. Its really inconvient and stressfull when your baby needs care and you've made an appointment and they become unavailable.

| I wish I could go to another vet, My area is so remote the next vet is an 8 hour drive away, on a dirt road no less!! That is why the vet here gets away with so much, no competion. Yup it does suck!

| How frustrating! I would be ticked too! I know it seems like a long road getting all the shots and through the first few vet visits but it will be worth it in the end. Roxie and Ryder both only go to the vets once year- unless its an emergency. It is such a hassle when they are young and need to be monitored so much, but you will soon be through this!

| Just thinking about your vet situation makes me mad. I don't know how you deal with this. Here it is, if you don't like 'em, move up the street a mile. When was the last round given?

| Maybe they had an emergency and had to close down for a few days... your baby only has one set of shots at 17 weeks? Yikes ~ I'd give them what for.. saying there was no emergency of course.

| re:so upset with my vet I would honestly go find a new vet. If they aren't going to be good enough to call you for an appt change or something, how could they be trusted with your little one's health and/or life (if heaven forbid, something were to happen)? That's my thought, anyways. Good luck to you!

| Baileys first shots were at 7 weeks by the breeder, the vet said that was to young and would have to start over, but Bailey was having problems with bloody poops so she suggested we wait, also she said because he was so tiny. He finally got his first shots at the vets on July 9th..what happens if to much time goes by? I have no clue about these things.
