| Going to use Cosequin after but... Currently I'm giving Sasha a supplement in the morning for her joints just as a precaution. I've read a few threads on here that some supplements arn't good because of some of the ingredients that are listed in them. I don't know very much when it comes to that, so I figured I'd post the ingredients of the supplement I'm currently using and see what everyone thinks. As soon as we're done with these, I'm going to start giving her Cosequin as I've heard wonderful things about it. I just figured I'd check up on these to make sure they were ok. I appreciate all opinions. Here are the ingredients: MSM, 99% (methyl sulfonyl methane) 300 mg/tablet Glucosamine HCL, 99% (shellfish extract) 250 mg/tablet Beef or pork liver 200 mg/tablet Chondroitin sulfate 175 mg/tablet Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) 125 mg/tablet Carrot powder 100 mg/tablet Citrus bioflavonoid complex, 40% 100 mg/tablet Hesperidin, 95% 50 mg/tablet Rutin (vitamin P) 830 mcg/tablet Ingredients: dextrose, microcrystalline cellulose, MSM (99%), glucosamine HCL (99%), beef or pork liver, chondroitin sulfate (min. 90% purity), ascorbic acid (vitamin C), carrot powder, citrus bioflavonoid complex (40%), hesperidin (95%), stearic acid, and rutin (vitamin P). Thanks! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I give Cosequin and am very comfortable w/ the ingredients. I don't give the capsule though - instead I sprinkle the contents on their food.
