| Do bullysticks cause gas? Our puppy's teething right now so we've been giving him his bullysticks a lot more often. (Trying to get him to knock out some of those left-over baby teeth.) The problem is, he's farting a lot. Do bullysticks cause gas/farting or could it be something else? We never noticed him having gas like this before. He's only 7 months old. Oh, also, when do baby teeth come out by? Thanks. |

| What exactly are bullysticks? Are they healthy for yorkies? Are they healthy period? Do they help clean their teeth? Sorry for hijacking your thread. I just want to know too....lol

| Marley and Colt both eat bully sticks and Marley loves to pass gas right in your face LoL It smells horrible. I am not sure about when baby teeth should be out but if or when you get him neutered they can take out the retained teeth if their are any. To answer your question, with my experience only, yes bully sticks give my two horrible gas LOL

| They do?!!!! Aww man, my suspicions are confirmed. He got neutered last month so we're not sure when to take him in to get his teeth pulled. We'd like to wait as long as we can to give them a chance to fall out on their own, but we don't want him to get bad teeth either. Do you have suggestions for anything else we can give him to gnaw on? Oh, btw, bully sticks are chew sticks made of some really tough stuff. It's digestible and relatively safe for lil doggies to chew on. We get them at Petsmart or Petco. |

| Oh, btw, I ordered from amd and the shipping was only a few dollars. Pretty cool deal. I really hope this works. About teeth, I heard that anything they're able to chew is good for their teeth. Not sure though. Maybe it loosens plaque or something like that. For us though, it's more because we want him to lose his baby teeth. |

| I love the bully sticks from AMD, too. I wanted to warn those that purchase their bully sticks from stores like Petsmart or Petco to make sure the sticks are sealed in plastic. If they are left open to the air they can be contaminated with harmful bacteria. This may be what was upsetting your pups tummy & causing gas. I've never had this problem with AMD's bully sticks.
