| Sratching Ears Maddie went to the groomers for the first time yesterday morning and they tipped her ears for the first time. She has been sratching at her ears all day, paying more attention to her right one and only occasionally the left. I looked in them and they look normal. Anyone else experience this after tipping her ears or do you think that she could have an infection or mites or something? Thanks! |

| Poor baby It may be that they got some hair down in the ear canal or that they trimmed it a little close and she is experience 'razor burn'. I'm not sure what you can do about it. Perhaps try calling your vets office and see if they have a recommendation. Or if you have a great groomer call them and tell them what's been going on, they may have a recommendation too.

| Snickers did that and when I took him to the vet he had a yeast infection in his ear, they gave me cleaner to use once a week and medicine for his ears, I had just gotten him from the breeder but I gave him a bath I asked if it's cause I got water in his ear and he didn't seem to think so. |
