| Its not one of the very best foods but its not one of the worst either. It has corn in it and some dogs like mine have allergies to corn. I dont know why they put that in there. Their other ingredients are good

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I'm trying to remember if you posted a while back about your guy being itchy...was that you? If yes, you *might* want to stay away from a food that has corn in it, just in case. If you don't see any evidence currently of allergies, then the food might work for you; if there is a chance of allergies going on right now, then I'd probably look for something else.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Joey's uses it and does really well on it, he's a fussy eater, and loves this food, he has no allergies of corn, and it doesn't use the corn as the main ingredients like many foods do, and I think this is what you want to watch for, a meat source should be the first ingredient. He never has diarrhea or vomiting, and is very regular, his teeth and hair are in excellent condition, and his poop is small and firm, and never suffers from gas either. Some dogs are allergic to corn, and this may show up as excessive scratching. When you switch foods, you should mix the new food in with the old, if you switch too fast, you dog may experience diarrhea of soft poop, no matter how healthy the food is.

The 3 Musketeers Donating Member | One of my friends uses it for both of her Yorkies and they love it. The vet is the one who recommended Royal Canine.
