Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Re: Raw Diet Hi everyone, Just wanted to know what everyone here thought about a raw diet? Niyah has been real finicky since I brought her home and I read that a raw diet may cure this so I got a coupon for Nature's Variety raw food and I am going to give it a try today. I myself think this would be good fro them seeing that in the dark ages before man adopted dogs as pets, the dogs had to hunt for their own food and it was not kibbles so that would leave raw wild animal mean and they seem to survived on their own. If I am correct, Nature's Variety does not have eggs in it so Salmonella should not be a problem. Is anyone else using this food on their finiky Yorki? Pray for me today that she will love this food. Thanks everyone,

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I just got back with two bags of Nature's Variety and gave one to Niyah. She devoured it so I think I found what will work with Niyah. I am so glad because I have wasted a few brands of dog food. Good thing the other dog will eat what Niyah didn't like. I also keep out hard food for her all day for in between feedings of Nature's Variety. I had another Samoyed years ago and I fed her a soft formula made by Biljac that you kept refriderated and she went nuts over it. Too bad they don't make it anymore.

Glad she likes it. Mine don't like the venison or lamb very much, but love the beef and chicken, and love love love the rabbit...which of course it more $$. If you do a search for raw diets, you'll find all kinds of topics on it. | |

| I used to feed Sasha a combination of NV raw and also left kibble out for her all day. She loved it for about 2-3 months and then lost interest in it, didn't want anything to do with any of the flavors. Hopefully your baby will love it forever and she won't be picky anymore! I never had any problems with the raw when I was feeding it though. |

| Snickers has been on Natures Variety Raw Medallions for month and loves it!! I love that he loves to eat. His favorite is chicken and also does not care much for the lamb or venison. So glad your pup loved it as well Snick & Viv

YT Addict | I love when people go raw its so good for dogs. Natures variety is very good get the coupons go to their web site. if you feed them raw and dry.you can get the dry food with a buy one get one free coupon its great. i Used to feed my dogs natures variety and their poop was great and everything but i think it bothered their tummies a bit. so i switched to EVO dry food and Prairie raw they do a lot better on it but i think natures variety is great too just not the right one for my little ones. they do poop a lot less on raw and that means there bodies are using that food and its not full of fillers. bad food will make your dog eat and poop more that's how you know raw food works. good for you for switching and trying it. | I'm so pleased to Niyah enjoyed it! Switching to raw is one of the best things I did for mine.....Twinkle (who used to be quite fussy) loves it, and I'm seeing less poops (and less smelly), and healthier looking coats with both of them. I know it isn't a choice for everyone, but if it works for your baby then that's great xxx
