| Alternatives to anesthesia and teeth cleaning?? Yesterday I took the dogs to the vet and she wants Britney to have her teeth cleaned. Not only am I worried about anesthesia but they said it would cost $450! Does anyone know of any alternatives to anesthesia and teeth cleaning?

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | how bad are her teeth? is there a lot of tartar on the back teeth? Is there a thin red line across the gums just above the teeth? If her teeth are really bad then i'd agree with the vet and go for the dental, then take really good care of her teeth so she won't have to go thru it again. if her teeth aren't that bad then maybe try a scaler to scrape some of the brown off and then use petz life or brush her teeth everyday.
