| Apple cider vinegar Does anyone use this with their pets water? I have always known it to be "good for what ails ya" but haven't heard anyone review it so to speak. I think I am going to start adding it to my dogs water daily, and possibly some other holistic things.. not sure what yet as i'm just researching this now. I'm hoping that it will help keep fleas away, along with their frontline treatments which don't seem to be doing the job as they should.

| Hi I do add little drops of ACV to his water. It also supposed to help repel mosquitos as well. I thought he was going to notice the taste but no he went on drinking like usual. He came home with 2 fleas from the breeder since I know she had other dogs there and since ACV I have seen non. I don't know if that was the remedy , but yesterday I took him a bath and for 3 weeks I have not seen one. I have had him since he was 10 weeks old and now is 17 weeks old. Mily |

YT 1000 Club Member | Might have to try this. Found a flea on my shirt after looking for them on Roxie. I wonder if they repell ticks too? And I wonder if it works for cats? I should add that I never found any on her so it must have jumped off onto me!

| I take ACV myself, and with ACV, if you are using it for health and dietary purposes, the pasturized and filtered kind just does not do the trick. I use Bragg ACV which is organic and unfiltered. It's kinda like iceburg vs romaine lettuce. Iceburg has the nutritional value of saran wrap, where Romaine has an abundance of nutrience.

| I put Aquadent in Ruby's water for her teeth. Wonder if ACV would affect how that works? |

| I have just started adding vinegar to animals water-I have 2 cats, a catahoola (dog), a chow mix, and my 10 week Yorkie. I have been using frontline plus but still finding fleas! I hate them! My Yorkie, Tessa, cries when they bite and it makes me feel so bad! Anyone have any other suggestions? Website for vinegar uses - Vinegar Tips - 1001 Uses for white distilled vinegar. Linda |

| I use Revolution on all mine, I have never seen a flea on any of them or on me. I order it on line and they call my vet for the prescription. Prevents heart worms, ticks, fleas and repels mosquitos, which a plus for us here in sunny Florida.

YT 3000 Club Member | you can use acv on their coat with h20 mixed in, it is good for the itches and dandruff, and they say to have a spray bottle and use it when people are on vacation. The fleas do not like the acidic taste to the skin. |
