| HELP!!..Advice needed Re. Comfortis & Yorkies weighing less than 5lbs Has anyone used Comfortis on their Yorkie weighing less than 5 lbs? If so: 1. How much does your Yorkie weigh? 2. How long have you given the Comfortis to your Yorkie? 3. What dosage do you give? 4. Has your Yorkie had any problems while taking the Comfortis? I have four Yorkies, all but one weigh over 7 lbs. My one yr old weighs 4.5-4.8 lbs. We have a horrible flea problem in south GA. I have a neighbor with about 30 cats in a fenced in area, even on top, in her back yard. She doesn't treat for fleas and we also have a neighbor behind us with a kennel of hunting dogs. We fight a constant battle, frontline plus no longer works on the larger Yorkies and the smaller one is allergic to it. I am affraid to use Promeris. I have a friend who almost lost her dog after using one dose of it. I have heard that Comfortis works wonders but that the minimum weight is 5lbs. I would greatly appreciate any experience anyone would be willing to share. Thanks! Lisa |

| I gave my Yorkie who is about 8 pounds one of the 5lb to 10lb comfortis that we get through the vet before she became pregnanat. I will go back to it after she weans the pups. It works wonderfully for her and our other dog. |

| Is there such a thing as an exterminator setting up some sort of bug barrier between your yard and your neighbors? I know that we need to be super careful about insecticides around our babies. We exterminators coming into our schools spraying for bugs when the kids are in their classes and roaming around the school. They say it is safe. So, that is where my question is coming from. ~Joanne~
