| just a little vent Lucas had fleas and was losing his hair from scratching so I got some advantix (?) and it worked GREAT! 2 or 3 weeks, NOT a SINGLE FLEA! I was sooo happy! We've been fighting fleas in the house and had gotten that under control and then the advantix took care of the ones on Lucas AND his hair has started growing back so that was under control! Then yesterday he was smelling so bad I decided to bathe him--the box said it was ok to bathe after 24 hours-- but TODAY he has FLEAS! Not only am I finding fleas but I also found 3 small sores on his chest! I think maybe they're from his harness and am wondering if it's too tight or if we leave it on him too much. I do know when I am gone my husband leaves the harness on him because DH can't catch Lucas (and Lucas doesn't go to my husband willingly). Sigh. Back to square one with an added problem. And a trip to the vet that I can hardly afford right now. Am seriously thinking about finding him a new home.... Thanks for letting me vent. It's been a rough couple of months around my house between one thing and another. |

| how much hair can actually be cut off? He didn't have much when I got him and his additional chewing/scratching has left him looking naked already. And I checked the date on the advantix and it's only been since june the 5th so way too early to put more on him. |
