| question about bullie sticks I bought one for cash and he loves it, I am such a worried mommy and am scared that he will chew of a piece or it will get to small and he'll choke. I take it away when it get small but it is such a fight with him, chasing him around to get it away from him. Has anyone had problems? |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | As with any toy, chew you give your pup you should keep an eye out. When it gets to a small piece maybe about two inches you might just want to take it away and give him a nice new one.

| No Bully Sticks I bought some bully sticks a long time ago, and took them back to the pet store. He went nuts over the taste of it to the point of burying it for later. He acted like he was on drugs with it too. I found out that they are made from a bull's testicles. That make me sick and nauseated that I took it away from him and took the rest back to the pet shop. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Joey loves Bully sticks and they are a great chewing stick because they are 100% digestible, I don't know any other stick that is. Greenies, and rawhides, both have small parts that are not 100% digestible. I use to take the sticks away when they were small, but Joey's not a gulper, and has never tried to swallow a big piece. You should watch how you dogs chew the stick, and you'll get to know his pattern. I use the Merrick brand, they are really hard, and it takes a whole week for Joey to chew on stick. When he was a puppy, he would go nuts looking for a place to hide it, and pretend bury it, and start the process all over. By the way, it's made from the penis, not the testicles.

| It's a trade off. Trade him the bully stick for a treat and he'll give it up with less fight. We bought our bully sticks from Best Bully sticks for quite a while. We now by them from YT member Westbrook. |

Just think of what all goes into a hot dog that we eat! Course if you do think about it too much, it is hard to enjoy one.

| I get bully sticks from AMD and they are wonderful because they do not smell. Hot Rod had horrible breath from the merrick sticks. We give them their sticks after dinner and they usually will chew them until they fall asleep at which time we put them up. It's so funny because if I don't give Maggie her bully before I sit down on the couch, she will go over to the shelf and wait and give a little whine. lol.
