| Devouring Food! My baby is just over 3 mos old. I feed her twice a day, 1/4 a cup each time. She eats her food so fast! I thought maybe she was really hungry so I started feeding her more and more often and she started pooping everywhere! She is thriving so I think she is getting enough to eat, but how do I slow her down? |

| Put a golf or a tennis ball in her bowl. She'll have to eat around it and it will slow her down

| Or they sell those dog bowls that have a post or something in the middle fo the bowl so the dog has to eat around it and it slows them down...

| I have 3 yorkies that are 6mths. old. One of them would eat 24 hrs. a day if I let him. He devours his food also and I know he is getting plenty to eat. He is the only one that has gas problems. I figured it was from him inhaling his food. My other 2 dogs I have to coax to eat.

I have decided to switch her dog food to something better bc her poops are so bad! I have been putting balls in her bowl and that helped a little but she just takes the balls out and keeps chowing down! | |

| Well my Dustie at 14 weeks old is having three small meals a day with an odd bicie treat in between. He is the same ..and devours the food as soon as it goes on the floor..although he does sit and wait till I tell him to eat it. I think it is better that they eat well..I have had in the past Yorkies that were pickie eaters..and that to me was far more worryin g.. I would say don't overfeed ..better not to have a fat overfed yorkie..especially if they will eat for ever. You will have to decide and be his judge. Chrisann x
