| Kennel Cough & Rabies on same day? I am taking my little 5 1/2 month old girl in to be groomed in the morning and I was told she needed to have a rabies shot and a shot for kennel cough before they could groom her. I dont know if thats safe or not. I have been searching all over on this site and couldn't really find the answer for these particular shots being given together. I hope someone can let me know to help me make my decision if she will be able to be groomed or continue to be my little shaggy baby. And by the way my groomer is located at my vets office and thats who would be doing the shots. |

| I myself don't. I gave Jemma her last puppy shot and will wait 3 weeks before I give her the kennel cough. Then another month her rabies. But that's just me Carol and Jemma |

| It really isn't okay to give both on the same day. And since the groomer is in the vet's office, they should really know that kennel cough has to be given before that day to be effective.

| Ellie May you are so knowledgable and helpful. You always have all the answers, especially concerning shots. I had no idea that that shot would not be effective on the same day Thanks for your answers, I love reading all your post, thanks again. |
