♥Tiny Tia my Furbaby♥ Donating Member | weepy eye Didn't think this should go in the sick & emergency section because its not , so admin feel free to move it ,but for the past week my baby has had a weepy eye .Every morning theres minging gunge in it. Ive used antiseptic wipes to clean it and was wondering if there was anything better. Does the cold used tea bag still work? Do you think I need to get her to the vet for it or can I treat it myself?

| It could be so many things; an eye infection, allergies, an upper respiratory infection (cold), conjunctivitis, etc. It would be very hard to figure the cause on your own. Since it's been happening for a while I'd say a trip to the vet is in order.

| Hi! I'd make a trip to the vet. My little girl had this problem and my home treatments only kept it from getting worse, but no better. The vet should be able to do a few simple tests (exam, dye test) to find the problem. GooD Luck! |

| You never know what it could be and it could get worse by the minute. I would get your baby to the vet to get it treated...
