| I'm really happy with the comfortis. It's the best thing I've ever used.

| I don't use flea products on my girls. But, Angel has very curly hair when it is wet. I just started using the BioGroom Silk Conditioner on her and I love what it does for her easily to tangle hair. Also gives lots of shine. For straightening, I use a palm-held hair dryer called The Wave Rage. I don't think it is made anymore, but I got a couple from Ebay. I use the attachment with the comb-like fingers and comb through her hair while drying until completely dry. It works great to get her coat straight.

| There really isn't a best and worst. ProMeris has gotten some bad press lately and I'd probably skip it for now...until it's been on the market a bit longer. Comfortis shouldn't be given with high doses of Ivermectin but that is generally not a concern. It is pretty new and I'd prefer not to use it until it has been out for awhile, but it works very well for some dogs when everything else doesn't, so really it is personal preference. I like Frontline Plus and Advantage.

| I've been using Frontline Plus on my dogs since they were puppies with no problems. I have heard of comfortis but did not have any reason to switch off of the frontline as it has worked for my babies for 9 years. As for products to smooth and straighten the hair - I use BioGroom Shampoo and conditioning creme and then once they are dry, I spritz them with BioGroom Mink Oil spray. I buy the stuff from PetEdge.com Wholesale prices on exclusive dog grooming and pet supplies |
