| Please help!!! Fleas have taken over our lives. and before you get all critical, please listen to the full story. we live in small town Ms.. before Sadie, our small 3 pound Yorkie, we have only had large dogs.. when we first got Sadie eveything was all good. We have a lab and a lab mix outside, and a beagle and Sadie stay inside. | They are probably in your carpet so your gonna have to bug bomb your house. Get a flea preventative like frontline or advantage and they will kill the ones on her

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Eliminate the fleas inside by using boriac acid. It's a powder...sprinkle it into the carpet and brush in with a long handled broom. It may be necessary to do this every couple of weeks...there are eggs in your carpet. Next step...give all the dogs a flea bath including the dogs outside and put them all on flea preventative such as advantage or frontline. Besides the discount of itching...fleas cause tapeworms.

| Have you tried frontline or advantage??? Even if you have fleas they will die once they bite the indoor dogs. ON another note, you need to go to walmart and get flea bombs... Vaccume the entire house good , under heaters, under sofas ( they like to hide there) along wall edges etc.. Prop the sofa up along with any other furniture that is close to the ground , you can use wood or books or bricks or even lean it against the wall.. Next take your sofa , love seat and chair cushions and make like a teepee out of them so that the flea bom stuff can get inside your sofa... Id use one flea bomb per room.. Take your animals outside for 4 hours, before you let them back in the house treat them with frontline or advantage, what ever your vet recommends,I know where I live you can buy frontline at some dog shops.. **please do not use the knock off stuff *** it doesnt work!! Air out your house a bit before you let the dogs back in , any remaining fleas should die from the frontline . My ex husband was a property manager, he has had to do this several times for tenants.. it works... your poor babies are suffering with flea bites, its very painful for them to have flea's and extremly uncomfortable

| I live in Mississippi too, and I know how frustrating this can be. We use advantage on Chloe, just in case. I recommend having your pest control spray your whole house inside and outside. Double check the big dogs because even though they don't look like they have them, they probably do. I would recommend giving them a dose of flea medication too. That will keep them from spreading. There's also a flea powder that you can spread in your yard to prevent future attacks. Put this around all trees very heavily...pine trees especially! I hope everything works out soon! |

| It can happen to anyone. We had fleas a few months ago. It happens. Have you tried a veterinary product like Frontline Plus, Advantage or Comfortis? Did you use boric acid on your carpets? Do the big dogs have any fleas at all and have you treated them?

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Skip the flea bombs...they are largely ineffective. The boriac acid isn't expensive and it works wonderfully.
