| Food topic (I know way overdone...) Okay sorry about over doing this since everyone asks about food for their little ones. Recently I was worried that our dogs got too into liking food that didn't seem good for them. (Mike's grandmother fed them whatever she gave her dogs and it always made our babies stool running.) Anyways, so I've been on the search to get them better food. I THOUGHT I heard a lot of good things about Eukanuba, but I'm not sure if it was something else. So I was looking around on Eukanuba's website and found this: Yorkshire Terrier Dog Food | Eukanuba.com Would this be good for them? I mean it suppose to be made for Yorkies, but I want some input before I go buy some. Thanks! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Chicken "by-product" is listed as the 2nd ingredient - I would steer clear of this food.

| I wouldn't go with that food choice, personally! Jackson loves Wellness and Before Grain. You could also try Innova, I've heard lots of good things about that food.

| No harm in asking... I think it is great that you are asking about your pup's food, shows how much you care!! I also would not recommend this food either, by-products are gross and Eukanuba is also linked to Iams which has been questioned for animal abuse. Some GREAT brands I would recommend include: -Innova (personal favorite) -Wellness -Orijen -Natural Balance -Solid Gold Check out this website as well: Dog Food Analysis - Reviews of kibble Click on reviews, and try to pick a 4 star and higher food. It has helped many dog owners find a suitable food for their doggies. Good luck to you

| My preferences are: Nature's Variety Orijen Wellness Solid Gold There are many other good foods I'd recommend but they're just not coming to mind right now. Good luck!!

YT 500 Club Member | I just picked up some Taste of teh Wild Venison and Bison formula and Meg went NUTS for it this morning. She completely ignored the old food (of course I am mixing it into her old food slowly to keep her from getting an upset tummy). I also give her Wellness Puppy.
