| dew claws did anyone have to take the dew claws off their babies or did none of them have them??? |

| JoJo still had his dew claws when we got him. We had them removed when he was neutered. He looked like a little race horse with his front legs taped up. |

| One of the requirements I had while looking for a pup was that the dew claws be removed. This is done, I believe, when they are days young. Anytime after that needs to be done surgically by a veterinarian and it is then a painful amputation rather than a simple snip and go. |

| Dew Claws I had Max's back dew claws removed when he was neutured but only because they were really flimsy(sp?) I kept the front claws because it is more like a amputation rather than just a snip...he was fine, it healed perfectly. |

| My Laci has hers too I dont want to hurt her but I am going to ask the vet to remove them when she is spayed...

| Yes, the dew claws are removed by breeder when pups are just a couple days old. I think either Zoe was "overlooked" or she just didn't have them done.
