| Question about liver diets Mia's new vet ordered her prescription diet for her high bile acid test results. We are trying diet change and supplements first. I am puzzled though, because she ordered the Royal Canine Modified diet. This actually says on line that it is for renal issues. Does anyone know if this is okay for her or would the Heptic Food be better? She is also doing densonyl daily. I am thinking of ordering the RC Heptic Diet myself to feed instead. Also she will give me a prescription for the lactoluse if I want to put her on it. Should I go ahead and add this, so far her poops are good and not hard. She usually goes 2 times a day. She also did antibiotics for 3 weeks to clear up any possible bacterial issues. Thanks

| How high were her bile acids? How old is she? Why was she tested/does she have symptoms? Can you post the ingredients and guaranteed analysis for the renal diet? You can't order the hepatic RC without a prescription unless the website you choose has a vet backing them that gets the stuff in.
