Blue Buffalo vs Wellness? I've learned so much reading the post here and I now know that I want to slowly transition my little guy my to a better quality food once I get him home. His breeder is currently feeding him Royal Canin MINI Canine Health Nutrition Puppy 33 but I'm a little troubled by the high corn content. I would like to transition him to either Blue Buffalo Chicken & Brown Rice Puppy Food or Wellness Super5Mix Just for Puppy Food as they have better quality ingredients and are available at Petco. I would love to hear everyones opinions on these two foods.

I would personally go with Wellness- I fed Blue Buffalo to layla when I first got her and it made her very very sick- their cat food was part of the recall- and while they have changed their formula- i just wouldn't be comfortable feeding it. Layla was on wellness for a long time and did great on it. I also like that Wellness has a grain free formula.

I tried to feed wellness but Stormy didn't like it, I do feed Blue and I can tell you it is great. I have both my dogs on it now and they love it. Stormy was a picky eater who changed her mind every two weeks, we've been using Blue for two months now and she eats it ALL! Her coat is nicer I noticed as well and she just seems like an overall happy hyper dog!

I just switched Sasha to Blue and so far she loves it! She's usually an extremely picky eater as well, but so far so good!

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | I feed Morgan Wellness small breed and wellness core. She loves both versions. I've been feeding wellness to my animals for over 9 years. My cat bailey has been on it since we got him 9 years ago and my other cat Skoshi has been on it since i got her last year as a kitten. All of my pets have great shiny soft coats and are very happy and healthy.
