| My dog is on a strick Diet with Z/D ULTRA allergen -free Good Day everyone, First of all happy mothers day to all the ladies on here. Now i guess i don't really have question just curious to know if anyone elses dog has this problem... my puppy CANNOT digest anything from actual dog food to human food to any kind of treats. she is strickly on this prescription food or else she gets the runs and sometimes even gets mucus in her stool. I am just concerned, it is hard to keep an eye on her 24/7. if we are at the park or at the in laws there is always always food or something that falls on the floor/grass. and just out of one little scrap she gets the runs. any suggestion. anybody else has this issue...i dont even have treats for her it is sad...i have to make my own with the wet food by cooking it...but she loves it at least. is there any cure to this?? probably not but I do't know i wanted to share and know that ther eis more puppy out there having trouble with their digestive system and Bailey is not going thorugh this alone. thanks for any input or stories.

| You know those little basket muzzles that don't prevent a dog from opening its mouth, but cover the mouth so that it would be difficult to pick things up? Having one of those on hand might help a lot-- she could be under the table at dinner time or go out on walks without you having to fear that she'll pick up scraps. I know someone whose poodle wears one when his owner can't pay 100% attention to him since he tends to eat things he shouldn't.

| I haven't experienced the digestive problems you describe with any of my puppies, but just wanted to say that I hope your little pup outgrows this problem.

| It's interesting that he has problems with any other food. This must have some kind of medication in it, because the actual ingredients are definitely not the best with many fillers. Since it sounds like he is still a puppy, you might want to consider consulting with a nutritionist to treat the problems actually causing his digestion issue. Several of us here have used Susan Davis (via phone consultation). She is fabulous and has helped everyone she has worked with. Most have used her for pancreatitis or liver issues. My Sissy was diagnosed with early stage Protein Losing Enteropathy. She has great holistic supplements and great diet knoweldge. She is definitely worth the price!!! Hope you find a solution.
