| We don't need anything right now but if Ellie went to the dog park weekly, she would be on Frontline Plus or possibly Advantage for just fleas.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | Since your going to the dog park i'd use frontline plus for fleas and ticks. i'd want something that protects against both because milo is around a lot of other dogs. ticks and fleas will pass from dog to dog if there are some around. Plus, i don't know about your dog park, but mine has trees and foliage around and ticks love to hide in foliage.

| Tricksie is on Confortis. I am sitting my granddaughter's 6 month old Pom and over night he got covered in fleas. Granddaughter is out of the country, don't know if she uses anything but I gave him 1/2 the pill and tried to kill the fleas on him. They don't even go outside. Tricksie doesn't have any. Anyone know what I could use to kill them now?

Couldn't you just use Frontline or doesn't that work in your area of the country?

| Capstar has been a mircale pill for us. 3 hours visiting family and Zoe got INFESTED with fleas. She'd had Frontline applied 2.5 weeks prior but it didn't make a difference. We went to a local vet and got a pill .... it made me so happy to see dead fleas! Other than regularly using something (Frontline, Advantage, etc) capstar is a good immediate killer of fleas (but not eggs). Also keep in mind that Comfortis (sp?) is a prescription! For instance Zoe is 5.5 pounds but has had a weak stomach in the past as a puppy so she can't have any, per the vet! So be careful just giving to it to another dog, they may not be able to handle it! Good luck everyone!

| We haven't seen any fleas either, so far. I refuse to put any chemcals on my babies. I am going the coconut oil route. I just ordered some from Garden of Life. They try to lick it off and off of each other. They love it. |

| I called his vet and he said that there shouldn't be any problems. Thank the Lord.

| I love Comfortis, I just wish there was something I could give Lilly for just ticks so I can keep giving the Comfortis. It's like tick country down here.
