| Shedding? In the last week or so I've noticed my baby shedding quite a bit! After I hold him there is hair all over my shirt, etc etc! He didn't seem to shed so much to being with...what gives? Is he ok? He is 15 weeks old, and the temperature where we live is getting warmer....is he losing his puppy hair? Is it losing some winter coat? Is it normal!?! I hope so... |

| Yorkies are a single coated breed and have no undercoat, therefore they don't shed. He's too young to be transitioning to his adult coat, too. Are you sure he is purebred? |

| The only time I ever see hair from Ben is when I am brushing him, other than that he does not shed. I didnt think Yorkies shed, but i could be wrong.

| Well he is suppose to be purebred! We saw his mother and father when we bought him, and they both looked purebred, the mother was a bit larger then average but other then that I believe he is purebred! I don't have a clue why he is shedding, there is little black hairs everywhere! Maybe he's stressed or unhappy! |
