| Kennel Cough I plan to call my vet Monday about this but thought I would ask here now since it is Sunday. Does anyone know how long it takes for a dog to recover from Kennel cough? A week ago my next door neighbor bought a puppy from a Pet store (ugh - yikes and a few days later told us the puppy had kennel cough (wonder where she could have gotten it!!?! ha) and I want to make sure she doesn't bring the puppy to play with my Brady. Three years ago this same neighbor bought a puppy from this same pet store and with a few weeks the puppy got sick and died. The pet store wouldn't refund their money so they had to use it to buy another dog. After having it for 2 years they gave it away because they both work and felt they didn't want to leave him alone all day. Now they've bought another one (mix - adorable). Buyers beware!!!!!!!!!!

| Kennel cough can last up to two weeks. I would recommend you stay away at least 3 weeks. You want to make sure the pup has no symptoms before you expose your dog to him. |
