| vegetables Hello I am new here on this website. I am very happy with what I have seen so far. And the love everyone shares with their yorkies. Clyde is my yorkie. I love him with all my heart and would be devastated if anything were to happen to him. Recently I found out they are not suppose to eat grapes. As stupid as I am I didn't know so I stopped letting him eat grapes. Now he is into apples, carrots, lettuce and some other vegetables. I was wondering if it is okay for him to enjoy the fruits and vegetables that I enjoy. This has nothing to do with what I asked but what is up with the hidding of his bones and food all the time? It is very aggravating when I find some apple under his blanket. |

| Welcome to YT! My Laya hides just about everything. I have to always follow her around and see where her hiding spots are. And of course as soon as I think I have them all down, she goes and changes up on me. I can't do anything but laugh.

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk (YT). There are "Stickys" at the beginning of most YT forums. There is one about "Dangerous Foods" at the beginning of Yorkie Health and Diet. There's one about plants. DJ (RIP) liked carrots and apples. Zeke likes carrots, apples and other veggies. He will try just about anything once. No apple seeds. They are supposed to be harmful. Zack will have nothing to do with fruits/veggies.

| all dogs tend to hide stuff so they can snack on it if they get hungry later ..as most pets never get a chance to get hungry later it tends to rot in what ever spot they hide it in lol our dogs will do anything for a raw carrot its one of their most favored treats |
