| Question about Puppy Vaccinations I am confused about how many sets of shots puppies need to be fully vaccinated? Is it 3 or 4? Bailey is 14 weeks and has 2 sets of shots. She is scheduled to get a 3rd set next week (at 15 weeks), and then a 4th set a few weeks after that. At that last date they want her to get rabies too. If 3 is enough I'd like to ask them to forget the last set of shots so she can just get rabies that day. I had it in my head that puppies are usually fully vaccinated after 16 weeks. So is it safe to take her on walks or places after her 3rd set or do I have to wait for the 4th set?

| my vet has never given more than 3 and when you get the rabies I wouldn't do it at the same time as the other shot |

| Jackson got three sets of puppy shots. 8 weeks, 12 weeks and 16 weeks. I took him outside after his 2nd set, but it was mainly in our backyard and stuff and on a few walks. My vet wanted to do a fourth set as well as Rabies and Lymes on the same day and well... I told him no, LOL. One of the recommended schedules is the 8, 12, 16 week one. And then rabies a week after.
