| Thoughts on Halo Has anyone here tried Halo brand dog food? I looked up the ingredients online and the first ingredient is chicken, so that's good, and there are no additives. It's organic, holistic dog food. I was thinking of switching my little Diesel to this food. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with it... Thanks, Michelle |

| Halo the best! My vet highly recommends Halo (Spots Stew). She says it is the number 1 healthliest food for my two yorkies. The best part is that they both LOVE it, especially the Lamb. They like the chicken too. (I would eat it - it looks so good). |

| Interesting I've also seen this brand but have never looked into it. Does anyone who has studied yorkie nutrition have any feedback, good or bad on this brand?

| My cat absolutely LOVES Halo's Spot Stew Wild Salmon kibbles. She complains when all that's left in her bowl are Science Diet Light hairball kibbles for seniors. Trying to switch her off of the SD she's been on for years. She didn't like our previous attempt to switch her to Wellness. Halo kibbles will be her only food once SD is done, but we have a long way to go with a huge bag. My yorkie loves getting Halo Spot's Stew Wild Salmon kibbles for very generously portioned "treats" however, it gives her a tiny bit of gas. I'm thinking it's the chicken in the Wild Salmon formula that's causing it--maybe. So I won't be keeping her on that. It does smell yummy and I'm sure she thinks so too. |

| This appears to be a pretty good food. I all about meat and wanting meat for my baby and Chicken is the 1st ingredient in the Spot's Stew Chicken. Since it is not Chicken MEAL, thats means when the water is removed, it would fall further down the list of ingredients. Therefore, I am not sure if there is enough meat in it, but the remaining ingredients seem healthy and wisely chosen. I like there to be several meats in the 1st few ingreidents and always look for MEAL (which meanss the water has already been removed.) Ellen Degenres owns this company now and I adore her, I don't think she would ever endorse anything that would not be good for pets. She is one smart cookie!! You would think the same about Racheal Ray, but her food turned out to be very low on the quality scale.
