| Is it possible he loves it *too* much? I bought Oliver one of these: Robbins Pet Care - Free Range Dog Chews 6-inch Achilles Tendon Chews (not from here, in a pet shop). He's has bully sticks - I only allow it for about half an hour a day and then I take it away. So far, no issues with that. I pick him up and take him outside, he comes in and does look for it but settles in and gives up the search quickly. I had heard of the Moo! brand being a good one (for bully sticks anyways) so I figured the tendon would be ok too... OMG.. SMELLY!!! It stinks so bad, and just from touching it long enough to hand it to Ollie my hands stunk and it took 4 washes to get the smell out. His breath smells so bad now that the first thing I did after taking it away was give him a bone that has some mint in it... yikes.. it's bad. He is not dealing well with having this one taken away. He is still looking for it 10 minutes later and he is giving out this pitiful whine. I'm thinking I should not give him the rest of it. I hate it as I spent $5 on the darn thing and he absolutely loves it, but his reaction is so much stronger that it can't be a good thing, right? He's still looking.. and crying... And it sounds bad but I don't wanna pick him up and comfort him as the smell might make me ill! lol... what was I thinking?!

| I threw it away I know he loved it, but his beard and breath smelt so bad for days that I couldn't even stand holding him let alone kisses - and he's an affectionate little guy! The smell just wouldn't go away no matter how many times I washed his face and gave him minty bones and teeth cleaners. I feel bad, but he doesn't even remember it.. I'll go buy him another bully stick and he'll be all good again.. lol
