| That is so funny because Tayah does the same thing. I think she thought they were toys when she was younger she would play with them and then eat them. I always wondered if it would hurt them also!

Bonnie (6 mo) ate a couple of the yellow ones, but what is so funny is she loves them after they get white & fluffy. She will be doing her little zoomie thing - and grab one of the white fluffies as she runs by. I will look at her little face and she will have white fluff all over her mouth.

Glad to hear they are not poisonous - I still might call the vet tomorrow. Sully ate a bunch of them yesterday along with some grass, and a bunch of those little buds that fall off our tree before the leaves start to grow. He was acting like a 15 year old dog last night instead of a 7 month old pup. Didn't want to play. I figured a good night sleep would do him good - but this morning he's still laying around and won't play. His poop was a little soft too this morning....Poor thing.

Generally speaking all parts of the dandelion are edible. However if he ate a boatload of that and other garden debris, his stomach may be hurting. Just FYI, any member of the bulb family, onions, tulips, daffodils, crocus, lilies, etc, are poisonous to them. So do not let him get to those. Hope he feels better.

An early Mother's Day Bouquet Ya, well Sully is feeling much better this morning. Last night he presented me with the most disgusting bouquet of flowers. A beautiful arrangements of lovely dandelions......covered with poop. Definitely not putting these things in a vase. I threw them out when he wasn't looking - didn't want to hurt his feelings. I guess it's the thought that counts.
