| Ok, so I am by no means an expert however there is a large amount of yorkies that have problems with corn and chicken there is the ingredients of puppy chow Ingredients Whole grain corn, corn gluten meal, whole grain wheat, chicken by-product meal, animal fat preserved with mixed-tocopherols (form of Vitamin E), soybean meal, brewers rice, meat and bone meal, barley, beef, sugar, animal digest, sorbitol, fish oil, phosphoric acid, salt, tricalcium phosphate, potassium chloride, sorbic acid (a preservative), dried carrots, dried peas, calcium propionate (a preservative), L-Lysine monohydrochloride, added color (Red 40, Yellow 5, Blue 2), Vitamin E supplement, choline chloride, brewers dried yeast, zinc sulfate, zinc proteinate, ferrous sulfate, manganese sulfate, niacin, manganese proteinate, Vitamin A supplement, calcium carbonate, Vitamin B-12 supplement, DL-Methionine, calcium pantothenate, copper sulfate, copper proteinate, thiamine mononitrate, garlic oil, pyridoxine hydrochloride, riboflavin supplement, Vitamin D-3 supplement, menadione sodium bisulfite complex (source of Vitamin K activity), calcium iodate, folic acid, biotin, sodium selenite. H-4037 I too learned that just like everything else in life just because the manufacturer says it is hight quality does not make that true. You might want to go to the diet forum here and see what others are feeding. I feed Natural Balance. If you can post a picture of the skin maybe someone will know what it is. |

| Yes I have seen cradle cap, however I am not a Vet, and your pup can't speak so unless you can post a picture for people to see, it would be very irresponsible for someone to tell you what to do. I would suggest making an appointment with your Vet. Sorry I can not be of more help. |

YT 3000 Club Member | take her to the vet if could be food allergies or something else, anything food with corn, wheat and soy are the biggest allergens for dogs. You can try just rinsing her off with lukewarm water, does she have fleas or flea allergy dermatitis can make them itch like crazy, or it could be something bacterial |

| I would definately suggest you take her to the Vet asap!!!! He will hopefully figure out what it is....and tell you how much benadryl you can give her...to help with the itching... Puppy chow is not a high quality food....she could definately be having a reaction to it... Have you bathed her?? I made the mistake of bathing a puppy in adult dog shampoo and she has a SEVERE allergic reaction to it...scared me to death!!!! We raced her to the Vet.....and they gave her a shot and prescribed childrens benadryl...but you don't want to give her anything without a Vet telling you how much...it could be dangerous.... After you get it figured out I would highly suggest you research premium foods for your baby...anything that walmart...or grocery stores offer are all 2 stars and Under....I only feed my babies 6 star food...however there are alot of great foods that are 3 stars and up... I hope for her sake she gets taken to the vet...Please keep us updated...
