| Yellow urine I have not changed anything in her diet and she feels great. What would cause the urine to be so yellow? She has fresh carrots and blueberries, her water is fresh and filtered.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | how has her urination and drinking been lately? the dark yellow urine (concentrated) means that she is dehydrated. so either she isn't drinking enough water, she isn't urinating normallly, or its the first pee of the day. anything like that been going on?

| She drinks a lot of water. Some days it is really yellow and other days not, no specific time of day.

| Got a different brand of pee pads, wonder if there are chemicals in them that would cause it?

| See if you can go online and pull both brands up and do a side by side of the ingredents and than just google the different ones to see what it says, or you can just call the company, |

| maybe it is the yellow orange pigments from the carrots. I know that humans can actually turn yellow (jandice looking) fom too many carrots. |

| I did get her some new treats, NEWMAN'S OWN, organic treats, turkey and sweet potato's. Will not give them for a few days and see if the urine is more clear.

| Pilot's urine become a bit more yellow when I switched him to Orijen, and he drinks 2x more than he use too. He's full of energy and is showing no signs of pain or problems while urinating. It's definitely diet related or a sign of a kidney/liver problem in which case you should get a urinalysis done.
