| ? about behavior after being fixed My yorkie girl was fixed on Monday. She is really just starting to act like herself again today, but has a new "issue" I'm not sure about. She is urinating all of the time. She does her normal amount, but then afterwards, she goes around the house squatting leaving little drops averywhere. It's almost liking she's marking her territory but girls don't do that right? Is this something that is happening b/c of her being fixed. She has never done it before. She was completely house trained before her surgery. Please Help! |

| My nine yo yorkie doesn't mark in the house, but she manages to save a drop of two for every single place along our walking route that may have some other doggie's pee on it. It just amazes me that the dogs seem to manage to have a crop or two for every single spot - no matter how far I walk them. You'd think at some point, they'd simply be dried up - but no no no - they can always squeeze out just one or two more dribbles. Michele :-) |

| You need to call your vet. Sometimes urinary incontinence can happen after a spay. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I agree with this, I've heard that they can get bladder infections afterwards too, and peeing frequent small amounts is a symptom, so tell your vet about this.
