Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I think you're making a fantastic choice to move off of Purina ! HonKitchen is a great food -- you may just want to try the free samples *first* for a good week or two to make sure she likes it. My dogs liked it for about 2-3 meals, and then would not eat it again, no matter what (and I had bought a HUGE bucket). But if she likes it, GREAT!!!

| Ditto on getting Honest Kitchen's samples...I also tried it and actually got the samples...and they ate it for a few days, then decided they weren't going to touch it. I too had a big tub of it and had to get rid of it. |

| Super great job, I tried both of those foods and Snickers liked them. The Honest Kitchen made him poop ALOT and we used Embark which is Turkey & Brocolli and Snick pooped about 5 times a day and ALOT of green poop. With the Before Grain, he had gas and diareah. I always liked the Merrick company so was kinda bummed. I really hope it works for your pup. Def use the sample packets 1st, the tub is so expensive!

The 6.6lb I get of the Buffalo kind was $16.35 or something weird like that!! I noticed the buffalo flavor was more. The chicken flavor was $15.99.

| You do have to remember, sometimes the allergies are not from the food, but, something in the grass, or even in the house. The only way to find out for sure is to run tests on her. Good luck with your baby. Mine are now on innova small bites now and my one is still itching. This is supposed to be a 5 star food. |

Britster...I meant the samples of the Honest Kitchen babes--their bucket is like 40-50 bucks! The mini samplers of Before Grain are awesome though!!!

| sometimes they can be allergic to the protein source. I know my Tumi is very allergic to chicken or beef. so she gets other protein sources such as salmon, Lamb, Venison, and Goat. I am glad you are switching your baby from Purina. Purina has way too many junkie ingredients.
