| Poor Sweet Pea...2nd round of puppy shots...ouchie! Well Sweet Pea is 16wks and had her 3nd round of vaccines. The poor thing was crying and whining a few hrs after we got home so i called the vet and she told me to get some Benedryl and give her 1ML of it. I felt so bad for her, all she wanted was for my dd to hold her. So she did until bedtime, then put her in her bed "pen" she gave a little "yelp" but settled down. I was a wreck all night! I kept listening to her and getting up and checking on her all night, so i didn't get much sleep. Today she is running around but still a bit sore when i pick her up. I just feel so bad for her, geesh it's like having another child. Next round of vaccines will be hard also as that one is the Rabies vaccine!!! My poor little "baby" i wish i could take the shots for her And to top it off the vet just called today and said that yesterday they had a puppy come in that was positive for PARVO!!! So to watch Sweet Pea for signs......just great!

| I feel the same way when it comes to shots. They are such little ones and can have reactions. Maybe you both will get better sleep tonite! PARVO!! Oh my, wash anything really good that you may have taken to the vet with you. Parvo can be passed on very easily! Good luck to you! BTW Sweet pea is adorable!!!!!!
