| K9 Advantix vs. Sentinel? I know I've had a thread similar to this before, but I can't seem to find it. And it's now getting down to me finding a good medicine for Jackson to be on with this warm weather and I just am not a good decision maker! lol. Currently- he's on Frontline but he's only got one more month worth left of that. And I know Frontline doesn't protect against mosquitoes, correct? Has anyone ever used k9 Advantix for their dogs? On this site 26802-2 - K9 Advantix For Dogs 11-20 Lbs. Teal 6pk - Dogs - Fleas And Ticks - Bullwrinkle-Rx - Detail It says: New K9 Advantix repels and kills mosquitoes before they can bite - protection FrontlineŽ Plus can't offer. As the vector of West Nile Virus, mosquitoes are a growing concern. Research demonstrates K9 Advantix kills up to 98.3% of mosquitoes and reduces their feeding up to 95.2%. Mosquitoes that don't bite can't annoy dogs or transmit disease. New K9 Advantix offers superior protection against ticks because it repels and kills Deer ticks, American dog ticks, Lone Star ticks and Brown dog ticks before they can attach. It repels up to 98.5% of ticks-repellency FrontlineŽ Plus can't offer. Ticks that are repelled and die without biting can't spread disease. New K9 Advantix offers the superior protection against fleas you can only get from imidacloprid. It stops fleas from biting in less than 5 minutes and kills them before they lay eggs. K9 Advantix also kills flea larvae before they develop into more biting fleas, so there's no need for an IGR. So it's sounding good to me but I'd like opinions!

| K9 Advantix vs. Sentinel I tried a search for the exact phrase and got a list of all the posts and threads that talked about K9 Advantix, Sentinel and some more on Heartgard. A couple of them were just the past day or two. Hope this helps.

| I used K9 Advantix until a few months ago. It worked ok but I did not like the idea of putting the liquid on the back of their necks as they are young and always playing around. One might "rough house" the others neck and get the Advantix into their system.
