| Not eating as much and he threw up hello i am new to this and i have a 16 week male Yorkie. i have had him for almost 3 months on April 12...and i have notice that every time he goes in the car he starts whining at 1st i thought it was because he need to use the bathroom but after a while i just knew he didn't like going in the car...now its gotten better because he just goes to sleep but today was very scaring. he was sleeping on my lap and all of a sudden he just got up and i thought he had to pee so i put him in the back where there are wee wee pads. when i saw that he had thrown up i got very scared. when i was cleaning it up he threw up again but even more than the 1st time.I am worried that he might have something wrong with his stomach or he might be getting sick because lately i have noticed he hasn't been eating like he used too. my husband thinks it might be the food but he used to love his food. I'm giving him wellness for puppy. |

| Hi, welcome to YT! I think you need to take little Gizmo to a vet asap...if a puppy loses appetite, it's a bad sign. It can also lead to hypoglycemia.

| I agree. I would be taking your little one to the dr quickly. When Disney was a puppy he would throw up if he didn't eat every 3 hours. I would feed him the meat only baby food when we got up in the morning and every three hours in between. He's still in the habit of a small snack before bedtime to hold him over till the morning. But, your vet needs to check him out to see if that's what the issue is. If you decide to try baby food, make sure you read the ingredients and stay away from anything that has onion powder or garlic powder. Your safest bet is to just stick with the chicken and beef, don't get too fantsy. I hope he's feeling better soon!!! Keep us posted on how he's feeling!!!!! |

| Are you saying that he is just throwing up when he is in the car? Or is he throwing up anywhere? If the later is the case then visit the vet now. This could be one of a number of serious problems. If he is throwing up in the car ride, it might possible be from motion sickness. Mine does not like car rides and throws up as well in the car. I have motion sickness also, so I completely understand. Either way, a check up will not hurt! Please keep us posted. |
