| NV? I am feeding NV medallions to both of my boys. The puppy is 6 months old and weighs 9 lbs. On the website it says to give him 6.9 oz a day so I rounded it to 7 broken up into 3 meals. We started with chicken then to beef now we are on venison. He is pooing a lot more with the venision like 3-4 times a day, still a normal hard poop but why the change? It is the venision or does he not need that much food? The vet said he would be about 12 lbs fully grown so he is almost there. When I go to the website and put in a 12 lb average active dog is says I should feed 4.2 oz. What are your opinions on how much I should feed him? He is not overweight now at all. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

| Hmmm, I'm not sure about your question on the poop change. I was just reading the latest on VivianSnickers thread about her baby having a different poop schedule on the venison as well. That's my guys favorite so they eat that most often. I'm going to keep an eye out and see if I spot a difference next time we switch back to lamb.

| Yup, I gave Snick Venison yesterday for breakfast and he pooped weird at noon. I'm not sure if it's b/c of the venison but he pooped at noon and he ate at 545am. He sure does like it though, and I'm glad to hear bonbon's are doing fine on it. I think it's just transition...I would stick to it for a week and then see if the poops improve. I'm not sure if the amount is too much. Good question.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | The amount seems right for his age, I checked it on NV too. Is he new to raw? If so, I'd feed only 1 kind for a good month or so before rotating - it could be that his system is overactive right now with all the changes. Is the consistency okay?

| The consistency is ok. Maybe it is the venison. Im gonna finish this bag and then go back to the beef. He did well on that. |
