| Mushrooms in the Back Yard!!! After somewhat of a drought down here in Southeast Texas, we have had rain for the past few days, and there are some mushrooms growing in the backyard...Apple goes straight for them, and I hurry and get them out of her mouth....Does anyone know if these are harmful? |

| I always wonder about that too as we are in a damp climate where we get a lot of mushrooms too. I only know of two edible varieties that I would be comfortable identifying. So, all the rest, I treat as poison. There are so many different kinds you would have to look up the exact variety to be sure, so it is just easier to think of them all as poisonous and keep them away.
