| Worried about puppy Rex jumped out of my arms yesterday because he is constantly moving around, well he landed straight on his back in the grass it seemed to knock the breath out of him. He got up immediately and started playing. I kept an eye on him to make sure he was ok. He went to the vet today to get a grooming and they said he had a infection in his urine, which could be caused from hitting something hard or falling. Does that sound right?? The vet gave me amoxicilion for him to take. Help just want to make sure my puppy is ok. |

| This happened to Jackson when he was about 13 weeks old and I was SO nervous and scared for him! He whimpered for about 20 seconds and I felt awful. He didn't land on his back though but I think he got the wind knocked out of him. After about five minutes, he was totally back to normal, but it scared me.

| That sounds really odd. I would be a bit concerned about his back. The vet couldn't possibly say that he has a urinary tract infection without at least a urinalysis. Did they do one? Urinary tract infections are caused by bacteria, not back injuries.
