| Do most...?? For those of you that apply flea and tick medication on your little one...do most of you apply it in one spot? Or do you break it up into different spots along the back?

| I use Frontline spray. I put it on a cosmetic puff, then rub it all over Lady's neck and rump, the two places fleas love. |

| My vet just told us yesterday to apply in one spot. Not sure as to why that is, but she said most people don't know to apply in one spot. Maybe it soaks in better? Who knows :-) But be careful with little ones. Make sure you don't give too much. I'm pretty sure Marley had a reaction to it last night. He threw up 3 times. But, he's feeling better now. |

| I follow the directions. Usually on small dogs, its in one spot, on the 2 big outside dogs, we have to go down quite a ways with a drop her, drop there, etc. |

| The directions should be followed exactly and usually that is to apply in one spot. The reason is that if it isn't put directly over the shoulders, the dog can probably lick it.

| I use Revolution and put it in one spot - between the sholder blades so he can't lick it.

My furkids Donating Member | I don't like to use chemicals on my girls. Someone (a while ago) had posted an herbal flea repellent that you make yourself with all types of oils. I don't have a problem with fleas but, if I do I am going to try the natural way.
