| That looks like mucus not worms. Worms would look like little pieces of rice.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | When you take her to the vet for a well puppy visit...take a stool sample and they will test it for you. I agree with Chachi...that is not worms.

| I would get her to the vet right away. It could be coccidia or giardia. Whatever it is, it is not a normal stool. Regular worm medicine would not kill coccidia. What are you feeding her and have you changed her diet? That could also cause mucus stools. Please keep us posted. |

| No you will have to wait for a fresh sample. Now if you take her by the Vet they can get a stoole sample from your baby. I would not wait on this very long. Maybe the vet can change your appt. for today or tommorow... |

| Oh gosh, I am so sorry to hear your puppy might not be well, thaht's awful! I think you're right to take a sample to the Vet, better safe than sorry! I'm afraid I dont really have an suggestions on how to get her to poop other than feed her. Puppies' digestive system are quite quick so if you feed her she'll probably poop in no more than about an hour I'd have thought. Just be sure to watch her like a hawk so that you dont miss it! Best of luck hon, and please do let us know what the Vet says, wont you? http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k3...getwell010.gif

| If you can't get a sample go anyhow. The vet should be able to get something from her rectally, enough for testing at least. Explain to him what it looked like. Finger's crossed it will be ok. It's better you get there ASAP just in case. Will watch for an update. |
