| Need advice I have a female yorkie. I have had her for almost 4 weeks now and she eats her poop. Not everytime, and not all of it, but I cannot stand it. I have a male maltese and he has never done this. She uses puppy pads and as soon as she does it I try and get it up, but sometimes she gets to it before I do. Other times she doesn't even try and mess with it. I have changed her food and when I do catch her in the process of doing it, I tell her no firmly and move her away. Is there anyone else that has had this problem? Is there anything I can give her (home remedy) to help her stop? I have read you can give them pineapples but I didn't know if this was a good idea. |

| Hard to figure out Hi there My little one did this for a while, and I did the same thing as you. When I caught her, I just said no, and took her away. I sometimes wonder if in their little minds they think they are cleaning up for us. Who knows? Anyways, mine stopped, I think yours will too. |

| I have heard that if you feed them pineapple they won't like the taste because it makes their poopy taste horrible.
