| Marley and Free Feeding Alright - With my other three pups ( not Yorkies - a chihuahua, poodle mix, and Mexican Hairless ) we free feed them. I never measure their food. I always figured they would eat what they wanted. Their weight has always been fine. So, I am thinking I should also free-feed little Marley. He is so young (around 5 weeks) that I'm worried he won't get enough if I pull his dish. What are the reasons NOT to free-feed? I'm doing the Blue Buffalo puppy food (Lamb and Brown Rice) with him and so far he is eating it. Heidi |

| Bumping because I'm kind of curious of the answer too. But maybe if he's so young you should be supplementing with goat's milk? My breeder said the pups' mom weaned them after 4 weeks, and she continued to give goat's milk after that.
