| Do puppies loose all their teeth? Mac & Maci was playing tug-a-war with a toy..few mins later I hear Maci scooting/scratching something across the floor. Thinking it was a rock I go to take it away from her and it is a BIG tooth two pointed and it has blood and (little bits)skin hanging off the end.. I tried to get her mouth open to look and she will not let me. (I dont feel anything missing) I put a paper towel on my finger to see if any bleeding in hers or Macs mouth cause Im not even 100% sure which mouth it came out of..no blood...NE way Maci is 7months is that normal for her to loose a bigger tooth or do they only loose the small front ones?..I hope they did not jerk a permanent tooth out!????

| Don't worry about it. It's just their baby teeth coming out including their baby k9's. For my girl, by the time we decided to have the vet pull out the remainder of her baby teeth, she needed 2 of her baby k9's pulled since only 2 had fallen off on their own. So the more teeth you find laying around, the better! Hopefully, they will all fall off for you soon so that you wouldn't need to put them through a dental surgery. I kept all the teeth I could find and the 2nd vet that did my girl's 2nd round of dentals saved me her teeth too even though I had forgotten to put in that request. |

| Yep, don't worry. They do lose all of their baby teeth, front and back. Nikko was neutered at 6 months old, and they pulled two of his baby teeth at that time because he hadn't lost them yet. So I'd imagine it's entirely possible that yours still had a baby tooth to be lost at 7mo old. Lauren & Nikko |

| Thanks for your replies! Makes me feel better.. Kinda scary how all of the sudden they are all coming out...Last night three times I heard her scratching something across the floor and it has been tiny teeth..lol I have had dogs all my life and never have found teeth, but then again I also remembered I have never had a puppy with wood floors so I guess all the rest got lost in the carpet. Scared I was going to have to find a dentist to make us some puppy dentures!..
