| The DHA and EPA are important and some brands are better than others. If it is USP approved (for humans) or if it is a veterinary product, it should be okay...otherwise there is some concern about purity. I am using 3V hgih potency snip tips right now for Ellie. If I used a human product, it would probably be Nature Made.

| I give Snickers 1000mgs of Fish Oil and 400mgs on Vitamin E daily. He loves his oils and sometimes will mix in his food so he eats more. His coat looks great.

| If you give fish oil...should you also supplement with Vit E?? And does the same apply to salmon oil?

I don't think salmon oil would be any different.

| 1000mg. EPA DHA, Fish oil. has Vit A,D,E. This is not only good for their shinny coats but for dogs who suffer from allergies. Bailey is living proof. He had Major Allergies, Ears, Eyes and Skin. This has cured him. I also give him a can of sardines once a week. I give the Yorkies about a half of a sardine. Good Luck.... |
