| I've been having the same issue with Hiro lately. He runs around and around and around and whines before he actually poops. His poops are hard but he doesn't seem to strain too much.... I have been feeding him some pumpkin with his meals and now the poops are still a bit hard, but he's not running around forever, nor is he whining. He actually had a really good poop today so I think the pumpkin is probably helping. Took a couple days though. ^_^ Good luck!

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I do 1 teaspoon once a day 2 times a week. One of my friends her pup had such a bad one that she has to give it to him every day to keep him regular. so it depends on your dog. Give it every two days and take it from there.. hugs, Carmen in nj |

| Oooo! I hope everyone gets normal again! Maddie did this same thing. She would poop hard, small poopies. After the second day, she was in obvious discomfort during her bowel movements, but the rest of the time. I still decided to take her to the vet. She actually had developed a bowel infection from chewing on sticks outside and they had become lodged! I fecal exam was done to determine this. They also did an xray and we could see her blockage was from butt to almost stomach. It happened really fast. I hope your problems are not this serious, but keep it in mind. yorkie babies! |

Hiro was out in the yard running around lately and he was messing with some sticks. I'll keep a close eye on him to make sure he's not really plugged up!! Thanks for sharing your story though, I wouldn't have thought of it. As for how much pumpkin.. I fed 1 day of 2 tbsp pumpkin, then one more meal the next morning. The next poopy was still firm, but then the evening poopy was a LOT better! ETA of next poopy: 2 hours, 1 minute. lol
