Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Don't worry about it unless there's a lot of blood, says my wife. Their teeth and gums do bleed a little when they're teething. How old? They also lose puppy teeth and can bleed when the teeth get loose.

| Probably nothing to worry about at all. If you want to see his teeth to check, apply pressure to the back of his jaw with a hand below his muzzle and use other hand above with thumb and middle fingers grasping behind the canines. Your palm will be covering his eyes. Sit him where he can't back away from you. |

| I don't think it's anything to worry about unless it's a large amount of blood. Trixie is teething too and there is some blood on her stuffed toys and rawhide as well. She lost one of her backteeth last Friday, after chewing on a frozen sock, and lost some blood. It's a good think the teeth are coming out!!! |
