| "Extra Teeth" A couple of weeks ago, I had Maggie spayed. I asked the vet clinic to check her teeth while she was in surgery and remove any that needed removing. When I picked her up, they said they removed a couple but not the canines yet. They said to watch them. Well, I have been watching and today I noticed little teeth behind her baby canines. Will the adult canines push the baby canines out, or will she have to go through being knocked out again? That was a terrible ordeal for her. The next day after surgery, she suffered from the runs and vomiting. Hopefully some of you have experienced this.

| Zoe was spayed on Thurs and she is still very sore, no vomiting or runs though. I thought she had too many molars--she ended up having 8 baby teeth pulled. She is slowly getting back to normal. |

| The adult teeth should push the baby teeth out. Jo only had to have one canine removed when he was neutered. He lost all of his other baby teeth on his own but since that one was there when he was neutered they went ahead and took it and my vet didn't charge anything extra for it. |

| I dont know but my vet removed the canines he said they wouldnt have came out on their own the root was too deep. I would play lots of tug of war to try to get them to loosten.

| My little Sneak Peek just went in for a routine dental and was "knocked out for that" and while he was "under" they pulled all 4 of his baby canines. All 4 of his permanent canines were fully in and the baby canines didn't budge at all when I tried to loosen them. They said it would be better for him for us to remove them while he was out than if we waited any longer. He was absolutely totally recovered from the entire ordeal in a matter of a couple of hours. Course he IS 9 months old.

| I would play lots of tug of war to try to get that one last tooth out so he doesnt have to be put under to remove one tooth. I dont know why the adult teeth havent came in but it might be something you should tell your vet next time you are in. The foamy vomit is not form hypoglycemia but I have heard of other dogs on here doing it when they are hungry also.
